The country has become Central America's largest coffee producer, focusing predominantly on Arabica varieties with increasingly sophisticated cultivation and processing methods.

Honduran coffee typically exhibits a medium body with pleasant, moderate acidity and a clean cup profile featuring notes of chocolate, caramel, tropical fruits, and subtle citrus, often with hints of honey or brown sugar sweetness.
