Vietnam

Vietnamese coffee is characterized by its bold, robust flavor profile and distinctive brewing traditions. As the world's second-largest coffee producer, Vietnam primarily cultivates Robusta beans, which account for about 95% of its coffee production, grown mainly in the Central Highlands regions like Dak Lak and Lam Dong.

Vietnamese coffee is known for its strong, intense flavor with a full body, higher caffeine content, and pronounced bitterness compared to Arabica varieties. The beans often exhibit earthy, chocolatey notes with hints of nuts and caramel. Traditionally brewed using a small metal drip filter called a "phin," Vietnamese coffee is typically served strong and sweet.
